To expand on my view: if it is something that’s built into the Animal Crossing New Horizons Bells game since launching & occurs annual (like NYE, festive period, bunny afternoon etc)I don’t care as much about spoilers. I do not like seeing spoilers that come from a brand new swap for new articles (like Pavé or Halloween and probably Mario), however I know that it’s a danger to see them when I get online following an update. However, this is all my opinion & feelings on it, and all ways of playing/views on spoilers are legitimate & acceptable.
It is a catchy subject to navigate due to the long-term playing aspect of the game. I appreciate seeing all choices & opinions on the topic, so thank you for sharing yours. I hope that the mods can find a solution that works best for everyone.
I feel some kind of spoiler tag would be nice. Understanding stuff early is very good for a few, but it destroys any enthusiasm I need for an event or new product. The appeal in events for me is that the puzzle prizes, so when they aren’t a mystery the event only becomes a chore to get stuff I know about.
The others I believe are fine as it stands today. Though if memorial posts become more prevalent, a separate subreddit? I believe that it’s called might be a wonderful idea. It would give a place for those who want to talk in their grief or loss, while keeping it different for people who play this sport to escape these things.
“Spoiler” tag demands often seem to turn into criticizing/piling on users who time traveling about how they are enjoying the game”incorrect,” which to me is completely counter to the spirit of this community and this game.
One issue I have had with principles is I had a pole auto-removed, I still don’t know why, and when I inquired why it was auto-removed I have no answer. If this community will use auto-removal I hope we could at least inform people why posts are removed?
Additionally it would be wonderful to have optional flair for hours and/or months played. A lot of new players arrived on over the holidays and it was sometimes hard to find out how to buy Animal Crossing Items pitch answers when I couldn’t tell if somebody was playing the sport for weeks or even a few days.
