MT for sale 2K21 have been monetized to hell and back. Some games market for $60 all in, but countless games have deluxe editions, pre-order editions, season moves, combat passes, boosts, etc, etc.. The sport game sub-segment can be greatly monetized by being a yearly series with generally very unambitious changes from year to year. Updating the roster itself, and that’s what people value, prices hundreds of dollars, and generates countless. They are drifting this as a trial balloon since they can.
Yeah, this thread is amusing, especially when I am pretty certain the age demographic is marginally higher than other gaming subreddits. Games are $50-60 because I was buying them together with allowance in 1999. You will find more ways to get games cheaply than ever before, you can access literally hundreds (if not thousands) of matches for the price of a few subscriptions right now. But when you live in a country with extreme wealth disparity where most people simply make enough to get by, they blame fair prices of goods/services instead of attributing the economic system they reside in where this is a problem for them.
It kind of baffles me that people are genuinely complaining about the price of games, they’re far and away the best value entertainment in life. People today spend $15-20 to go and watch a two hour film without batting an eyelid but $70 for potentially dozens if not hundreds of hours of amusement is unreasonable? If the ordinary game price $100 it’d still be really good value in terms of hours of entertainment per dollar. In addition to the fact that as you said games are $60 for well over 20 years now, we have been due a cost increase for the last few generations.
Beside it being NBA 2K stuffed with MT. There has was a few posts concerning somethings gotta budge, game development got more intense and larger but the price of matches remained exactly the exact same pretty much possibly a tenner over the decades. Cost or shorter games more brand new I think was the ending thought. But Buy NBA 2K21 MT Coins matches full of MT should be free or half the cost or better yet simply do not make them from a business stand point these games are ideal for them unfortunately. Not justifying this specific choice but I feel as though it’s worth noting new matches have been $60 since SNES days that would be well over $100 adjusted for inflation. The simple fact that they haven’t raised the costs yet is somewhat baffling.
